L is for Louisville!
A children’s abecedary & art book
About

L is for Louisville! A Children’s Abecedary & Art Book, is a project that assembled willing Louisville-based artists to create unique, child-friendly pieces of art to accompany 26 pieces of Louisville trivia. Each piece corresponds with a specific letter, encouraging the reader to work their way through the book using everything from Victorian homes to George Rogers Clark and even gum, which was invented by a Louisville native!
Participating Artists

The original artworks were display during October 2010 at The Green Building Gallery. All proceeds from all sales of the book, as well as the gallery’s share of the sales of the corresponding artworks, went directly to Art Sparks at the Speed Museum.
